Welcome to Saigon! The local currency is VND — cards are widely accepted at the hotel but cash is handy for street food and small shops. October is warm and humid, but the wedding venue is fully air-conditioned. The city is vibrant and easy to get around.

Fly into Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN), Terminal 2 (international). It is approximately 20–30 minutes by car to the hotel, depending on traffic.

We recommend one of the following options:

Grab — Download the Grab app before you arrive. Once you exit the arrivals hall, follow signs to the designated Grab pickup zone. Set your destination to "Hotel Nikko Saigon, 235 Nguyen Van Cu, District 1." Estimated fare: ~150,000–200,000 VND (~$6–8 USD).

Reputable taxi — Look for Mai Linh or Vinasun taxis at the official taxi rank. Avoid strangers offering rides inside the terminal.

Hotel transfer — Contact Hotel Nikko Saigon directly to arrange an airport pickup.

Most international guests will need a visa to enter Vietnam. We recommend applying for an e-visa in advance at evisa.gov.vn.

The dress code is elegant attire — think cocktail dress or a smart suit. The venue is fully air-conditioned so a light layer is welcome. Please avoid white out of respect for the bride.

We recommend staying at the wedding venue itself — Hotel Nikko Saigon — where a special wedding promo code is available (see above). Other great options nearby include Hotel des Arts Saigon, D1 Mension, and Zenity Luxury Apartments.

Before the wedding — We will be dining in the evenings and enjoying the nightlife from 15th October and would love for you to join. Please contact James for more details.

After the wedding — Family and friends are welcome to join us at a resort from 19–21 October. Please contact James or Trang for further details.

The local currency is Vietnamese Dong (VND). Cards are accepted at hotels and major venues, but carry some cash for taxis, markets, and small purchases.

SIM cards are cheap and easy to buy at the airport — around ~$20 USD for unlimited data for 2 weeks. eSIMs are also available if you prefer to set up before arrival.
